As an accountant your responsibilities will include:

• Process all customer invoices, travel expenses, and payments; post incoming invoices, credit notes, expense reports, and credit card statements.
• Review and reconcile customer and bank balances; ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping of customer collections, customer-related invoices, and bank statements.
• Prepare and post monthly accruals/provisions.
• Independently manage various accounting records (general and sub-ledgers) for both financial and cost accounting.
• Manage budget booking activities, ensuring accurate allocation of costs and expenses to the appropriate cost centers, projects, and budget lines.
• Monitor budget utilization against approved plans, identify variances, and support corrective actions where required.Prepare periodic budget reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for management review and decision-making.
• Collaborate with department heads and project managers to track expenditures, maintain budget controls, and ensure financial discipline.
• Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes by providing financial data, analysis, and recommendations.

3 – 5 years of relevant working experience

• Accounting
• IFRS
• Excel
• Reporting
• Reconciliation

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field preferred
• 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in accounting software (sun is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of accounting and closing processes. Good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards is a plus.
• Fluent in greek and english (writing and speaking). French is a plus.
