Your responsibilities cover the entire accounting spectrum:

• 📑 A-Z Management: Maintenance of accounting ledgers, including daily entries (incoming/outgoing invoices, intercompany, bank reconciliations/CODA) and month-end/year-end closings.
• 📊 Financial Reporting: Independent production of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, notes) in accordance with applicable standards.
• 🏛️ Tax Compliance: Management of VAT declarations for various group entities and assistance in preparing corporate tax returns.
• 🔍 Internal Control: Monitoring and justifying accounts, and implementing control procedures to ensure legal compliance.
• 🏗️ Asset Management: Diligent tracking of fixed assets, depreciations, and revaluations.
• 🤝 Audit Support: Preparation of year-end files and direct support during audit missions.

To succeed in this role, you possess the following profile:

• 🎓 Experience: You have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in general accounting with full-cycle management, ideally within an international corporate context.
• 💻 Tools: Professional proficiency in SAP is mandatory for this position.
• ⚖️ Expertise: You have a deep understanding of BEGAAP standards and Belgian taxation (VAT, Corporate Tax/ISOC).
• 🌍 Languages: You are fluent in English and French. Knowledge of Dutch is a valuable asset.
• 🧠 Soft Skills: You are recognized for your rigor, organizational skills, and analytical mindset. You enjoy collaborating with other departments while managing your responsibilities independently.
