Working within a major corporate enterprise solutions branch, you will serve as the administrative backbone supporting the Senior Director of Programs. Located in Bowen Hills, QLD, this full-time contract runs from September 2026 through to 30 June 2027, with high potential for further extension. This position presents a fantastic opportunity to enable high-level executive decision-making, maintain confidential information flows, and keep strategic project delivery running efficiently across statewide initiatives.
Position OverviewYour duties will be tasks including but not limited to…
- Managing complex executive diaries, email accounts, meeting requests, and workflow tracking for the Senior Director
- Preparing, organising, and distributing executive meeting documentation, agendas, briefing materials, and accurate minute taking
- Coordinating general business operations, including basic financial and human resource administrative tasks, staff travel arrangements, and office supply management
- Acting as a central liaison and key point of contact for internal leadership, project officers, external clients, and executive stakeholders
- Assisting in the delivery and support of designated program and project management activities
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining efficient, highly organised, and confidential office management practices and procedures
- Proven experience delivering high-level executive support to senior executives within fast-paced public or corporate environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated tact, diplomacy, and sound handling of confidential matters
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, database software, and digital records management practices
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise competing deadlines, solve problems, and work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team
- Experience coordinating business support services, including administrative, financial, and HR activities
- An attractive rate of $63.50 per hour + superannuation
- Prime Bowen Hills, QLD location with full-time hours (38-40 hours per week)
- Start date confirmed for 21 September 2026 running through to 30 June 2027, with extension opportunities
