In this hands-on role, you will lead the design and production of large-scale publications and digital assets that support major regional planning initiatives. The Details
- Rate: $79.17 – $84.55 per hour + super.
- Duration: Temporary contract until November 2027.
- Location: Brisbane.
- Experience: Previous Government experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Complex Projects: Drive the design and production of large-scale publications and end-to-end projects for the Regional Planning program.
- Brand Stewardship: Maintain meticulous accuracy and ensure all assets align with corporate identity standards and brand guidelines.
- Strategic Advice: Provide expert advice to stakeholders on visual storytelling and design products tailored to specific audience needs.
- Collaborative Design: Partner with business areas to gather briefs, manage production schedules, and coordinate the delivery of high-quality visual assets.
- Technical Excellence: Utilize industry-standard software and systems for design, online publishing, and basic multimedia (photography/video) creation.
Your Profile
- Design Expert: You have advanced expertise in publication design and layout, with a portfolio that proves your ability to handle complex documents.
- Autonomous & Accountable: You are comfortable working independently and take full ownership of project outcomes and deadlines.
- Project Manager: You possess strong workflow management skills and can navigate the governance requirements of a large organization.
- Problem Solver: You have a sharp eye for detail and a knack for analyzing creative challenges to find effective solutions.
- Qualifications: While not mandatory, a degree in Graphic Design or Multimedia - or significant practical experience in a similar role - highly favorable.
Work Environment
This role is based in the heart of Brisbane. While standard hours apply, the nature of major projects means occasional work outside standard business hours may be required to meet delivery milestones.
