Sitting at the vibrant intersection of culinary art and food science, you will be the technical bridge between innovative ingredient portfolio and our corporate B2B clients across APAC. This is a highly dynamic, hands-on role where you will translate customer briefs into delicious, scalable, and commercially viable food applications.
- Application Development: Design, develop, and optimize recipes for key APAC categories, including savory seasonings, sauces, noodles, snacks, and ready-to-eat meals.
- Lab & Pilot Operations: Conduct bench-top testing and pilot plant trials to evaluate the performance of ingredients under various processing conditions (e.g., powder processing, sauce manufacturing, drying technologies).
- Sensory Evaluation: Organize internal tasting sessions, evaluate flavor profiles (taste, aroma, mouthfeel, and umami retention), and use these insights to fine-tune formulations.
- Technical Customer Support: Collaborate with the Technical Service Manager to prepare and deliver high-impact product demonstrations and technical presentations for regional clients.
- Lab Management: Oversee daily lab operations, maintain technical documentation, manage raw materials, and ensure high standards of safety and hygiene (SOPs).

You will join a highly collaborative, science-driven, and culturally diverse technical team in Singapore. This team acts as a critical growth engine for the APAC region, offering you cross-border exposure and the opportunity to work closely with commercial sales teams and regional corporate clients.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on product development (R&D) or technical service experience within the flavor, seasoning, or B2B food ingredient industry.
- Proven track record in formulating culinary and savory applications (sauces, condiments, processed meats, or instant noodle seasonings).
- Strong understanding of industrial food processing, such as thermal processing, emulsification, and powder blending.
- Prior experience working on projects or formulations targeted at diverse Southeast Asian or broader APAC consumer palates is highly advantageous.
- Project and time management skills to handle multiple client briefs simultaneously.
- Communication skills with the confidence to support technical discussions during customer meetings.
