key responsibilities
The responsibilities of assistant accountant role are the below:
- Entering and managing transactional data within SAP and Hyper, complemented by strict account reconciliation and balance control.
- Creating insightful analytical reports and dynamic dashboards using Excel. Includes performing detailed Cash Flow Analysis and forecasting to support strategic planning.
- Active collaboration with the accounting team to successfully complete monthly and quarterly closings, and providing essential documentation and support for internal and external audits and financial reviews.
- Driving efficiency by leveraging AI tools and agents to automate tasks and continually optimizing accounting procedures through technology implementation.
- Preparing accurate financial statements and executive-level management reports for decision-makers.
experience
At least 2 years of experience in an accounting department
qualifications
- Knowledge of Greek tax legislation and accounting standards
- Excellent knowledge of SAP, excel and AI tools
- Very good knowledge of english
- Degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field/specialty
- At least 2 years of experience in an accounting department
