Are you as an Assistant Scientist ready for a new challenge in a dynamic environment? We are looking for someone motivated who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary environment with different stakeholders.
- MBO or HBO, macimum BSc level in a life science study, MSc is considered overqualified for this position.
- Affinity with logistics / sample management and experience with quality and systems such as GMP, BSI, TruVault and eLIMS are strong advantages.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience with raw material handling related activities.
- Developed interpersonal skills and able to build strong relationships.
- Flexible and accurate.
- Good communication skills in English, written and verbally.
what will you do
Main tasks for this role in the Material Management team include;
- Sample receipt, storage and forwarding according to GMP
- Preparation of shipping documentation & lead document revisions
- Maintain up to date inventory of materials and samples
- Process and review incoming Certificates in the appropriate systems (e.g. LIMS)
- Receipt and record inspection and test results and review of work performed by colleagues
- Accurate completion and review of documentation
where will you work
The SO Labs group is part of the Analytical Development department within the Pharmaceutical and Analytical Development sector. The SO Labs unit comprises six sub teams (Release & Stability, Raw Materials, Sample Management, Cell Culture, Microbiology, and Coordination). The group is responsible for conducting and reporting on release and stability testing of Janssen virus and antibody products for use in clinical trials, as well as providing analytical support for pilot plant activities.
