    Your organisationThis well known Federal Government department based in Canberra is looking for an APS4 Administration Officer to join their team on a 3 month contract basis with the potential to extend for the right candidate. You will be providing administrative support for a small and high performing team. Your responsibilitiesYour duties will include but are not limited to:Arranging travel and accommodation for committee members, where required.Using SAP ESS / SAP Concur to record and acquit details of each committee meeting, attendance, flights, accommodation and associated expenses to generate payments.Assist the team leader and other team members with the preparation of committee meeting papers i.e. collating committee papers, converting documents to electronic PDF form, bookmarking, hyperlinking agenda and posting on GovTeams etc.Manage the establishment processes for new committees or add new members to existing committees on the relevant committee databases.Assist with the scheduling of meetings, including bookings via GovTeams or payment of venues for committee meetings (where relevant).Assist with the management of the mailbox and information line.Monitor media releases to inform the team and collate a weekly summary for the committee.Assist with the management of records on TRIM Review and update secretariat Standard Operating Procedures, as required.Draft simple correspondence to committee members and/ or external stakeholdersWhere required, provide administrative assistance to other team members.Provide administrative support to the Director, as required.
