We are looking for an Automation OT Technician to support the Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance within a regulated industrial environment.

You will be part of an Automation team, contributing to the maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of IT/OT systems supporting production and operations.

In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support for OT systems, focusing on system stability, patching, data management, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

This is a technical, operational role with strong exposure to industrial IT systems, cybersecurity, and automation environments.

IT/OT Operations & Support (?90%)

• Provide technical support for OT infrastructure and systems

• Perform patching and updates (Windows & applications), including testing and validation

• Support data management processes (e.g. OPC UA and data layers)

• Investigate and resolve technical issues in collaboration with users and teams

• Contribute to system improvements and optimization initiatives

Coordination & Investigation

• Work closely with IT, engineering, and production teams

• Support change control processes and implementation of system updates

• Assist in identifying priorities and proposing technical solutions

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation

 Training & Administrative Tasks (?10%)

• Support documentation, reporting, and knowledge sharing

• Assist with training and onboarding where required

Required:

• Degree in Industrial IT / Automation (CFC, ES Technician or equivalent)

• 2–3 years of experience in an industrial environment (pharma, chemical, food or similar)

• Knowledge of GMP environments and validation/change control processes

• Good knowledge of Microsoft tools and environments

Technical Skills:

• Patching processes (Windows & application updates)

• Data management and industrial data layers (e.g. OPC UA)

• Basic experience in writing technical documentation (functional/design specs)

• Familiarity with standard IT tools and environments

Nice to Have:

• Cybersecurity knowledge in OT environments

• Industrial networks (routing, VLANs, firewalls, Ethernet/IP)

• Linux systems (administration and updates)

• SCADA / HMI systems and communication protocols

• Database knowledge (Oracle, MS SQL)
