Location: NW Edmonton, AB
Shift: Day and Night shifts available
Compensation: $22.00 – $25.00/hour (Commensurate with experience/apprenticeship level)

We are looking for a skilled CNC Brake Press Operator to join our fabrication team in Northwest Edmonton. You will be responsible for the precision bending of various materials, ensuring every part meets our engineering standards. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys a fast-paced shop environment and is looking to grow their career in sheet metal fabrication.
Locations: Edmonton
Schedule: Full-time, Must be available for both Night & Day (4x10s/11s, Monday-Thursday)
We have aggressive hiring targets for early 2026.
This is an exceptional opportunity for dedicated apprentices to secure a long-term position with guaranteed conversion.

Responsibilities
Precision Fabrication: Set up and operate CNC Brakes to produce parts according to engineering drawings.
Material Handling: Work comfortably with large quantities of carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel sheet material.
Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of bent parts to verify dimensions and strict tolerances.
Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues as they arise.
Documentation: Quantify processed material using our production tracking software (basic data entry).
Team Collaboration: Assist with lean manufacturing initiatives and support other shop tasks as needed to keep production moving.
Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly adhere to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of direct experience in a fabrication shop environment.
Technical Skill: Proficiency in CNC press brake operation; ability to read and interpret engineered drawings accurately.
Soft Skills: A strong work ethic, a "team-first" attitude, and a willingness to help out where needed.
Assets: While not required, experience with Amada, HACO, or All Steel brakes is a major plus. Forklift certification or a Sheet Metal Apprenticeship (2nd Year Preferred) is also highly valued.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
