This role is based at the Brisbane City Council South Region Depot in Darra, on Brisbane's Southside. Your primary roles and responsibilities may include the following:

• Use of standardised tools to control traffic
• Ute Driving
• Monitoring Traffic Management Plans
• Completing mandatory pre-start checks
• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Administration and paperwork
• Assessing site safety at all times for hazard identification purposes
• Reporting duties (i.e. safety incidents or safety hazards)
• Monitoring of traffic behaviour in line for BCC safety requirements and procedures
• Controlling traffic in accordance with the protection of pedestrians, work crews and all other members of the public

Key Requirements

It is essential that you have the following tickets and licenses:

• Traffic Controlling Industry Experience
• Traffic Management Implementation
• White Card
• Open C class licence
