Clearly identifies project stakeholders and establish customer / end user personas, as well as
their key reporting requirements.
Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and validates the ESG, Sustainability, Reporting and
Visualization business requirements from stakeholders / customers / end users.
Conducts interviews with key users to define ESG / Sustainability requirements, KPIs and Metrics
via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios
and other methods.
Works with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements.
Participates in the Function Testing, System Integration Testing(SIT) and User Acceptance
Testing(UAT) of reports delivered to ensure features and functions have been developed as
per specifications.
Analyzes and verifies ESG / Sustainability requirements and test scenarios / test cases for
completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility and conformity to standards specific
to the BI tool being used for delivering the reporting requirements.
Develops and utilizes standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements
specifications.
Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional reporting requirements in a clear
manner that is comprehensible to developers and project team as well as carries out required
data analysis / data mapping activity
Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers
and/or the project team.
Develops and conducts peer reviews of the functional reporting requirements to ensure that
requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
Assists with the articulation of customer requirements into feasible options driven by the BI /
Reporting tool used for delivering the requirements and communicates them back to the
business stakeholders.
Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforces and
redefines as necessary.
Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbally
and through written documentation — to key project stakeholders including project managers,
sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood and required
change management processes are enforced.
