The Opportunity Are you a strategic sales professional who enjoys building long-term business partnerships?
We are representing a leading Australian provider of integrated telecommunications and managed IT services. This is a high-impact, autonomous role for a Senior Business Development Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values the opportunity to shape a growing market.
The Role Based in Melbourne, you will act as a key brand ambassador. You will consult on complex business solutions—including unified communications, SIP, and managed IT services—to help clients achieve their digital goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate Opportunities: Identify and engage new B2B clients through thoughtful outreach, networking, and relationship building.
Consultative Sales: Conduct deep-dive needs analyses to align technical solutions with client objectives.
Lifecycle Management: Lead the entire sales journey, from initial engagement and tender bid management through to deal completion and successful onboarding.
Collaborative Growth: Work closely with internal Sales Support and Technical teams to ensure a seamless experience for every new client.
Strategic Accuracy: Maintain precise records of client interactions and pipeline progress within the CRM system.
The Ideal Profile: We are looking for a professional who brings:
Sector Expertise: At least 3+ years of success within the telecommunications or technology sectors.
Solution Mindset: A strong ability to learn and explain technical concepts such as PBX, SIP, and data services.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a focus on delivering value and maintaining margins.
Autonomy: The ability to manage a pipeline independently while remaining results-oriented.
