To drive direct growth across key commercial accounts, they are seeking an agile, self-driven Business Development Manager reporting directly to the Managing Director.

This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role designed for a hunter who thrives on end-to-end business development. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for expanding market share across the HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering) and foodservice channels, introducing high-quality meats, dairy, and seafood portfolios to key decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a key portfolio of foodservice accounts, delivering on sales, volume, and profitability targets. Formulate Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to foster long-term partnerships.
- Drive contract negotiations, pricing structures, and promotional agreements with key clients and distribution partners.
- Execute foodservice strategies to identify untapped market opportunities, expand distributor coverage, and track competitor dynamics within the HoReCa and bakery sectors.
- Partner closely with Marketing for campaign activations/POSM, collaborate with R&D/Technical teams on customized product developments, and coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure precise forecasting and fulfillment.
- Track and report sales performance to senior leadership, manage trade spending strictly within budget, and ensure strong ROI on all commercial initiatives.

- 5–6 years of sales experience strictly within the Food FMCG or Foodservice sector.
- Direct commercial experience handling proteins/meats (fresh or frozen), dairy products, or frozen seafood is advantageous.
- Established networks and deep familiarity with the HoReCa and Foodservice channels.
- Comfortable operating as an individual contributor with high self-discipline, direct accountability, and strong strategic execution skills.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, commercial agility, executive presence and a proactive "hunter" mindset.
