Our client is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive net-new business growth and expand our market footprint. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing high-value ICT solution sales across corporate, enterprise, or public sector clients.
Core Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition: Identify, target, and secure new enterprise and mid-market commercial accounts through strategic prospecting, networking, and social selling.
Solution-Led Selling: Conduct deep discovery sessions to understand prospective clients' business challenges, mapping our ICT service portfolio to their strategic goals.
Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain a healthy, transparent sales pipeline. Consistently log activities, track deal stages, and provide accurate revenue forecasting using our CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot).
Stakeholder Management: Confidently pitch to and negotiate with senior stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, Procurement, and CFOs.
Bid & Tender Management: Lead and collaborate on corporate RFPs, tenders, and framework agreements, ensuring high-quality, competitive submissions.
Key Requirements & Experience
Proven ICT Sales Track Record: Minimum 3 years of successful B2B solution-selling experience within the technology, managed services, or telecommunications sector.
The "Hunter" Mindset: A demonstrable history of independently generating leads, managing complex sales cycles, and consistently hitting or exceeding revenue targets.
Exceptional Communication: Superior presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts simply.
CRM Discipline: High organisational skills with a commitment to maintaining accurate data and pipeline hygiene.
[Optional Compliance]: Relevant local clearances if targeting government clients (e.g., Australian Citizenship / AFP Background Check).
