As a Business Manager, your responsibilities will include:

•  Supervise and lead all operational teams and external providers, including maintenance, IT, cleaning, catering, school assistants, and receptionists.
•  Oversee supplier and contract management, ensuring service quality and costeffectiveness.
•  Manage the school’s facilities, ensuring a safe, inspiring, and high-functioning learning environment.
•   Manage the maintenance, security, and development of school buildings and grounds.
• Ensure that health & safety and compliance policies are up to date and adhered to by all staff.
•  Lead fire safety training and risk management strategies.
• Keep school leadership informed on all health & safety, building, and operational matters.
• Supervise and enhance catering, coffee shops, after-school, and transportation services. 
•  Monitor income and expenditure, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Analyze financials, manage budgets, and negotiate supplier contracts.
• Collaborate with the Country CFO, supporting budgeting and forecasting. 

3+ years of Experience

• Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ideally, previous experience in a similar role within the education sector. Alternatively, working experience running operations or managing a business in hospitality, startups, or other service-driven environments.
• Proven leadership skills, managing diverse teams and external providers.
• Hands-on, problem-solving approach with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants and sponsorships.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
