About the Role
Our client is a QLD government organisation based in Marsden QLD. They are currently seeking a Business Support Officer for Receipting and Invoicing to come in and join their team on a temp contract opportunity until 30th June 2026 with possible extensions.
Candidates for this role must have:
- Previous experience with Receipting and Invoicing
- Extensive experience in a fast-paced business administration environment delivering customer service to multiple teams.
- Highly developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage your workload and collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver professional communication and relationship management across all channels, handling complex enquiries and representing the Council to the community.
Business & Fleet Operations: Provide administrative support for Payroll, Fleet, and Hire services while managing accurate records and operating procedures.
Financial Administration: Manage invoicing, costing anomalies, and requisitions, including advanced financial reporting and budget reconciliation.
Quality & Process Improvement: Conduct quality audits and implement system improvements to enhance service efficiency and documentation accuracy.
Team Mentoring & Workflow: Lead onboarding and staff coaching while assisting with workflow planning to meet fluctuating customer demands.
Governance & Ethical Practice: Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards while prioritizing tasks in a high-pressure, changing environment.
About You
You will be an experienced Financial Business Support Officer with proven experience and reliability in previous roles.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Previous experience with Receipting and Invoicing
- Extensive experience in a fast-paced business administration environment delivering customer service to multiple teams.
- Highly developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage your workload and collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines.
