As a catering assistent you are a natural talent when it comes to hospitality. You have a drive for service and a passion for helping others. Do you recognize yourself in the following?
- You are available during office hours on weekdays.
- You thrive on variety—whether you are behind the counter, preparing sandwiches, or assisting in the dishwashing area, you are ready to jump in anywhere.
- You are fluent in Dutch and/or English.
- You have your own transport. The Tata Steel site is vast. You may need to travel a few kilometers between different locations on the premises.
- Previous experience as a catering assistant, in hospitality is a plus, but your motivation to learn the trade is just as important!
As a catering assistant at Tata Steel, you ensure that the all employees enjoy a pleasant and tasty break. Your daily tasks can be divided into:
- Responsible for preparing and serving various dishes such as sandwiches, snacks, salads, and soups, including till work.
- Ensuring the kitchen, restaurant, and service counter remain in pristine condition, both during and after busy periods.
- Making every interaction a positive experience through a friendly approach, ensuring employees return to their work energized. And you? You’ll end your day with a big smile as well!
You will work on the expansive Tata Steel site in Velsen-Noord, a dynamic industrial location with over 9,000 employees. You are a crucial link in a large and supportive team that tackles daily challenges together. It’s a job full of social interaction and variety within a world-renowned organization.
