The Role
Based in Penang, you will support major manufacturing plants by solving chemical process issues, recommending specialty material solutions, and managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit local factory floors to troubleshoot chemical process and material application issues.
- Serve as the main technical contact for plant engineers and local distributors.
- Work with internal engineering teams to introduce upgraded chemical formulations.
- Protect key accounts, manage basic price negotiations, and track sales pipelines.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields.
- Experience: Fresh graduates or 1–3 years in process engineering, lab/testing, or technical support.
- Traits: Strong communication skills, high energy, and a desire to build a career in corporate tech sales.
