We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Bokaro, Jharkhand, India. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant experience in the steel industry, with a strong emphasis on civil engineering, safety, and construction.
Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage all aspects of civil engineering projects within the steel industry.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and best practices throughout all construction phases.
- Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments to ensure project standards are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, contractors, and other engineers.
- Prepare detailed reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are aligned with company goals.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of progressive experience as a Civil Engineer, preferably within the steel sector.
- Proven expertise in civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a heavy industrial environment.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bokaro, Jharkhand, India.
