Job Purpose
To oversee and ensure the structural integrity and quality of civil works specifically for large-scale Solar PV power plants, focusing on foundation stability and site infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Foundation Inspection: Supervise and approve the quality of MMS (Module Mounting Structure) foundations, including pile casting, pre-cast foundations, or RAMMING processes.
Land & Grading: Monitor site leveling, grading, and the construction of internal access roads and drainage systems.
Inverter & Transformer Stations: Ensure the quality of civil works for Inverter Rooms, Control Rooms, and Transformer yards, including earthing pits.
Pull-out Tests: Oversee and document Pile Pull-out Tests to verify load-bearing capacity against design specifications.
Material Testing: Validate the quality of concrete, reinforcement steel, and aggregates used across the solar park.
Compliance: Ensure all civil works adhere to the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Field Quality Plans (FQP), and local DISCOM/STU standards.
Required Skills
Deep understanding of foundation design for solar structures and soil stability.
Experience in conducting and documenting Topographical surveys and soil test reports.
Familiarity with IS Codes related to concrete and steel structures.
Strong ability to read and interpret Civil/Structural drawings for Solar arrays.
