Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:05 PM
Randstad is currently recruiting for Council Asset Care Team Members / Cleaners for an immediate start within a local government environment. This is a hands-on, outdoor-focused role dedicated to ensuring community assets and civil infrastructure are kept in safe, clean, and high-functioning condition.
If you are looking for stable daytime hours (7 AM start) and enjoy working in a team that takes pride in the presentation of public spaces, this is the position for you.
Carry out maintenance and cleaning works on civil and building infrastructure to ensure assets are safe and well-presented for the community.
Perform minor repairs and non-trade tasks incidental to asset care.
Safely operate a range of hand and power tools, and heavy mechanical plant (where certified).
Log maintenance activities and report potential problem areas or hazards via tablet-based corporate software.
Adhere to OH&S legislation, ensuring a safe workplace for yourself and the public.
Assist in emergency maintenance situations during work hours (and after-hours on a roster basis if required).
Current Victorian Medium Rigid (MR) Driver’s License is essential.
Valid Victorian Traffic Control & Traffic Management certifications.
Previous experience in civil maintenance, cleaning, or building infrastructure.
Proficiency with hand/power tools and an understanding of quality control.
Must be able to start ASAP and commit to the 7:00 AM – 3:05 PM schedule through to June 30th.
Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and have a valid Right to Work in Australia.
Immediate Start: Get to work straight away with a streamlined onboarding process.
Early Finish: Enjoy your afternoons with a 3:05 PM finish.
