The successful candidate will be an individual who loves the outdoor and can be a leader of the outdoor learning program, designing and developing the experiential curriculum, ensuring that outdoor education is not just an "extra-curricular" activity, but a core component of the student journey. You will oversee the operations of the team, manage a team of specialists, and collaborate directly with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Teachers.

Collaborate with the teaching team and senior leadership teams to align and design the experiential learning with the school’s strategic vision and curriculum focusing from Primary through Secondary sector.
Work alongside Faculty Heads to integrate subjects (Science, Geography, PE, Arts) into the outdoor campus environment.
Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the school’s dedicated outdoor campus/center including budget, equipment procurement and facility upgrades/maintenance.
Lead and mentor a team of outdoor educators and logistical support staff.
Act as the primary Health & Safety lead for all off-site and outdoor activities, ensuring all programs comply with Hong Kong Education Bureau (EDB) regulations and international safety standards.
Conduct rigorous risk assessments and maintain up-to-date emergency response protocols and staff certifications (First Aid, Wilderness First Responder, etc.).
Serve as the primary point of contact for parents regarding outdoor trips and safety concerns.
Build partnerships with external providers and local environmental organizations in Hong Kong.

skills & experiences required.

Degree holder in Education, Outdoor Leadership, or a related field, Master’s degree is a bonus.
Minimum 8 years experience in education sector, preferably with experience in outdoor/experiential learning
Experience in managing a team is preferred
Certified teaching license in Hong Kong is preferred
Advanced certifications in outdoor pursuits (e.g., Kayaking, Climbing, Canoneing) and high-level Risk Management training.
A strategic thinker who can balance operational logistics with pedagogical goals.
Preferablly exceptional English and Chinese communication skills; the ability to inspire students and gain the confidence of parents, faculty and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of Hong Kong’s geography and EDB safety guidelines is a significant advantage.
