About the Role
We are looking for an Intermediate Data Annotator to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will go beyond simple data entry to act as a critical link in our Machine Learning pipeline. You will be responsible for high-precision labeling across multiple formats (text, image, and video) and will work closely with our Data Science and Analytics teams to refine the tools and processes that drive our AI models.
Job Responsibilities
High-Fidelity Annotation: Perform complex labeling and tagging of text, image, and video datasets using specialized internal software.
Engineering Feedback Loop: Provide structured, constructive feedback to our engineers to improve the UX of our labeling tools and the efficiency of the data pipeline.
Process Ownership: Maintain full ownership of assigned annotation tasks, ensuring high data integrity and quickly adapting to changes in audit requirements or labeling guidelines.
Issue Documentation: Proactively identify and report bugs or inconsistencies within annotation documents and internal tools to the development team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interact with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to improve data curation strategies and ensure "gold standard" quality across all datasets.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in data annotation, data validation, or a high-volume QA environment.
Language Proficiency: Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal) is essential for documenting edge cases and communicating with technical teams.
Precision & Stamina: Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail during repetitive, high-volume tasks.
Technical Aptitude: Comfortable navigating new software programs and providing technical feedback on tool functionality.
Mindset: A proactive, quality-focused professional who is reliable and can work independently within a contract framework.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple annotation sets and keep documentation organized.
