In this role, you will combine your deep technical expertise in the Microsoft SQL ecosystem with business acumen, acting as a technical lighthouse for junior engineering team members.

key responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of robust data architectures using on-premise MS SQL Server technologies.
- Develop complex data models that drive strategic business decisions and high-level reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate VBM methodologies into technical requirements.
- Oversee the integration of data flows into visualization tools, ensuring data accuracy and top-tier performance.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, assisting them in technical design and ensuring best practices in database management and ETL processes.
experience
SQL, SSIS, ETL, QlikView/Qliksense, Informatica IDMC and/or Databricks is considered a plus.
qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related Quantitative field.
- Hands-on experience in Data Engineering with a mastery of MS SQL Server technologies (T-SQL, SSIS, Performance Tuning).
- Experience with Qlik Sense/Qlikview or similar BI visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI.
- Experience with Informatica IDMC and/or Databricks is considered a plus.
- Experience within the Banking/Finance sector would be considered as a strong advantage.
- Excellent command of the English language.
