Randstad is looking for a talented Delivery Manager- Power Distribution for a well known contractor. This role will be based in the South Eastern Suburbs and will manage a field delivery team as well as a major contract/program. We’re looking for a confident, collaborative, and values-driven Delivery Manager- Power Distribution to lead a diverse portfolio of power distribution projects- ops & maintenance, emergency response, new connections, etc. If you’re someone who thrives in a site environment, excels at managing trades/high performing teams and juggling priorities, I want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

As a Delivery Manager- Power Distribution you will:

• Manage project budgets, timelines
• Build long lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Prioritise safety and HSE standards
• Manage day to day field operations
• Manage linesworkers and trades
• Promote a safety focused atmosphere as well as champion a collaborative, efficient, and high performing culture

Experience:

• Certificate III or higher in electrical utilities, power systems, or project management
• Background in managing field teams, working with unions, conducting toolbox meetings, etc.
• A thoughtful, inclusive approach to risk, stakeholder engagement, and vendor relationships.
• Solid technical knowledge of engineering or construction, grounded in best practice and ethical leadership.
• A natural mentor — you’re someone who shares knowledge generously and helps others grow.
• Comfortable using Microsoft suite of applications (outlook, excel, project) tools like SAP, and confident navigating the commercial and contractual landscape. Power BI understanding a plus!
• A current Australian Driver’s Licence and an understanding of key legislative frameworks impacting utility work.
• Proven ability delivering distribution or utility projects before — but most important is your ability to lead with clarity, compassion, and competence.
