Our partner is one of the largest global players in the energy industry and is looking for a Design Engineer for their manufacturing plant in Csepel.
Pozíció leírása / Job descriptionYour tasks will be:
- Mechanical design of specific, industry-standard equipment according to customer requirements and internal production technology criteria.
- Detailed mechanical design of tanks and active components for shop floor documentation.
- Creation of technical drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and technical datasheets.
- Compliance with technical standards, publications, and industry regulations.
- Root cause and error analysis to ensure product integrity.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Technology, Production, Procurement, Quality, Sales, and Order Administration departments.
- Client relationship management through active communication and partnership with the customer’s technical departments.
- Participation in international meetings, supporting the development of global design rules and R&D initiatives as required.
- BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer degree, with validated experience of five or more years as a mechanical/electrical design engineer.
- Minimum of five years of experience in medium and/or large power transformer mechanical design, including core clamping, leads, tanks, and cooling systems, demonstrating strong conceptual and practical knowledge.
- Ability to understand mechanical simulations and familiarity with International and other e.g. American and Canadian standards for transformers and their components.
- Confident English and/or German knowledge.
- Confident knowledge of standard office software (MS Office) and 3D (f.e: CREO) knowledge.
- Proactive individual with strong communication skills, showing curiosity about teamwork and experience collaborating with global teams and manufacturing partners.
- Ansys simulation program knowledge is an advantage.
