As the Centre Coordinator, you will lead a dedicated team in providing high-quality care and education to the children of the Tiwi Islands. This is a chance to truly make a difference in a remote community while enjoying a lifestyle most only dream of.
We know moving to a remote community is a big step, so we’ve built an industry-leading package to support you:
Competitive Salary: Range between $79,704 – $90,000 (Base) + Super.
Subsidised Housing: Your own 3-bedroom house for just $230 per week.
Relocation Assistance: Up to $3,000 to help you get settled plus accomodation
Work-Life Balance: 6 Weeks Annual Leave + 2 weeks Personal Leave.
Financial Gains: Salary packaging options (up to $15,900 p/a) to increase your take-home pay.
Rewards & Wellbeing: Access to a staff rewards program (450+ retailers) and a comprehensive Wellbeing Centre.
Qualifications: Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Compliance: Valid Food Safety Certificate and a current NT Ochre Card (or ability to obtain one).
Mindset: A passion for remote education, cultural respect, and the drive to lead a team.
Experience: While leadership experience is a plus, we are happy to mentor a "new to sector" Coordinator who has the right attitude and foundational skills.
Located in Wurrumiyanga on the Tiwi Islands, you will be immersed in a vibrant culture known for its world-class art and Australian Rules Football. Just a short flight or ferry ride from Darwin, it’s the perfect base for someone who loves the outdoors, fishing, and community-led living.
