This contract Drafter role supports Engineering and Operations by producing, updating, and maintaining accurate technical drawings across pipeline and facility assets. Specific Accountabilities:
Develop, update, and maintain engineering drawings across mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines
Translate engineering concepts, project deliverables, and field redlines into accurate CAD drawings
Review and incorporate site markups, photos, and as-built information into final deliverables
Ensure all drawings comply with Enbridge drafting standards (DS 001, DS 002, DS 003) and applicable industry practices
Support preparation of Issued for Construction (IFC) and As-Built drawing packages
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, field teams, and external service providers to ensure alignment
Maintain drawing control, revision history, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Support multi-project delivery in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Scope/Dimensions
Works across a broad range of drawing types supporting pipeline and facility projects
Interfaces with internal teams and external contractors to deliver consistent, high-quality drawings
Requires independent judgment to interpret incomplete or evolving input data and resolve drawing discrepancies
Contributes directly to process safety information (PSI) accuracy and project execution quality
