Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine electrical maintenance, fault finding, & breakdown repairs on specialised production machinery.
- Service & optimise heavy manufacturing components, including curing ovens & associated industrial plant equipment.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with Australian standards & site safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the broader maintenance team to minimise downtime & improve machinery reliability.
- Be willing to undergo a pre-employment, work rights & criminal history check.
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Full Australian working rights & currently residing in Australia.
- A clear understanding of both written & verbal English for safety & reporting documentation.
- A valid Australian Electrical Licence (A-Grade / NSW Contractor or Supervisor licence).
- Current valid Australian driver's licence.
- Proven track record working in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
- Hands-on experience maintaining complex production machinery (experience with curing ovens or thermal processing equipment is highly regarded).
- Prior experience in the locomotive or rail manufacturing industry will be distinctively advantageous.
