Are you a domestic sparky looking for exceptional pay, stability, and a consistent field run? We are currently seeking a qualified Residential Maintenance Electrician to join a major building and asset services team based out of Molendinar.
This position offers a premium hourly rate on a highly secure, long-term contract running from 20 July 2026 to 8 January 2027, with a strong possibility of contract extension based on performance and site requirements.
The Package & Perks
Premium Hourly Rate: $70.00/hr Base + Super (paid weekly).

The Work
This role offers a dynamic mix of domestic service maintenance and minor residential construction works across a diverse social housing and government asset portfolio.
Service Maintenance & Minor Works: Deliver electrical service maintenance, fault-finding, electrical upgrades (including safety switches and smoke alarms), and "make safe" repairs to public housing properties.
Technical Execution: Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications, utilising specialised testing equipment and safety gear.
Digital Workflows: Utilise hand-held electronic devices to manage job logs, data input, and office applications (Word, Outlook).
High-Risk Safety: Execute daily task risk assessments with a comprehensive understanding of safe working methods regarding asbestos, lead-based products, and high-risk construction hazards.
Apprentice Mentorship: Take personal responsibility for training, mentoring, and providing professional support to apprentices at all year levels.
What You Need
We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious residential tradesperson who takes pride in quality service delivery and maintains strict compliance standards.
Trade Qualification: Cert III in Electrotechnology and a valid QLD Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Mechanic minimum).
Safety Tickets: Current LVR/CPR and Construction Industry White Card.
Transport: Valid Open QLD "C" Class Driver’s Licence.
Compliance: Strict working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 (The Wiring Rules), Electrical Safety Act 2002, and associated regulations.
Highly Desirable (Advantageous): Data/Molex cabling experience, CCTV/Security systems knowledge, Working at Heights (WAH) ticket, or a structured Data Cabling Licence.
