Responsibilities
The daily life of an estimateur de bâtiment is focused on surgical precision and strategic coordination:
Perform complete and detailed analysis of plans and specifications from tender documents.
Ensure coordination and rigorous follow-up of invitations to bid with subcontractors.
Manage change notices efficiently to maintain budget integrity.
Perform comparative price analysis and accurately integrate data into spreadsheets.
Prepare and submit the final bid file for management validation.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure a smooth transition to execution.
Maintain the unit cost and supplier database.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role in Brossard, we are looking for a profile combining technical rigor and organizational skills:
Hold a DEC in architecture or building estimation.
Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in estimation with a general contractor.
Have relevant and demonstrated experience in large-scale institutional or public projects.
Perfectly master standard IT tools (Excel, Word) and management platforms (BIM, FTP sites).
Demonstrate strong analytical skills and a sharp eye for detail.
Be able to manage multiple bid deadlines simultaneously.
Show an excellent ability to negotiate and build trusting relationships with partners.
