Your Key Responsibilities
As the engine room of the executive office, you will be responsible for:
Diary Management: Managing a complex and ever-changing calendar, ensuring the Executive is prepared and on time.
Correspondence: Drafting, reviewing, and tracking high-level briefing notes, emails, and official government correspondence.
Liaison: Acting as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders and members of the public, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor.
Travel Coordination: Organizing regional travel, accommodation, and fleet vehicle bookings.
Administration: Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing digital filing systems.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
We aren't just looking for someone who can type fast—we’re looking for a proactive problem solver.
Government Savvy: Previous experience in a government environment (AO3 level EA) is highly regarded.
Communication Skills: You possess a high level of written and verbal communication with a "can-do" attitude.
Tech Proficiency: Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, and Word are your best friends).
Discretion: You understand the importance of confidentiality and handling sensitive information with integrity.
