This is a pivotal position within the Group’s leadership. You will serve as the "operational engine" for a leader with a profound background in global finance and maritime operations. This role is not just about administration; it is about managing the rhythm of a global powerhouse that balances heritage with a future-focused investment strategy.
As the Executive Assistant to the COO, you will:
- orchestrate a complex, ever-changing global calendar, acting as the primary gatekeeper to ensure optimal time utilization for a leader overseeing 15+ operating businesses across multiple time zones
- coordinate all aspects of extensive international travel, including private aviation and accommodation, while traveling alongside the COO when necessary to provide on-site mission support
- drive operational momentum by tracking critical deadlines and following up on delegated actions across the executive team to ensure the COO’s priorities are met
- maintain administrative and financial oversight, managing the office rhythm through expense processing, invoice management, and project-based financial tracking
- govern executive communications, drafting and proofreading sensitive reports and correspondence with absolute confidentiality and precision
