This Extruder Operator role offers a competitive 2026 hourly pay range of $28/hr along with enrollment in a Variable Compensation Bonus program. If you have a background in Manufacturing and possess the technical skills required for precision extrusion work, we want to hear from you.
As an Extruder Operator, you will work a stable Monday to Friday schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Please note that this facility is a strictly smoke-free environment, including during scheduled breaks. Additionally, due to safety protocols and the requirement to wear a respirator, all candidates must be clean-shaven.
The skills we are looking for:
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting industrial extrusion machinery.
• Strong manual dexterity required for using hand tools and operating specialized equipment.
• Technical competence in recording and interpreting SPC (Statistical Process Control) data.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 25 kg as required throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail for weighing materials and documenting work orders.
• A healthy and positive attitude toward teamwork and management goals.

Responsibilities
• Operating complex extrusion equipment and machinery according to established safety protocols.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and performing precise clean-downs during color or product changes.
• Setting up and documenting Standard Operating Conditions (SOCs) to ensure process stability.
• Performing on-line quality checks, including PPG and SPC recording, to maintain product standards.
• Weighing and blending raw materials with high accuracy to meet product specifications.
• Creating and applying product-specific, customer-specific, and GHS labels on finished goods packaging.
• Moving finished goods to the staging area using a forklift.
• Completing all production paperwork and work orders, highlighting any quality concerns to supervisors.
• Taking samples of finished products and delivering them to the QC Lab for testing.
Qualifications
• 2-3 years of experience in a plastic manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift.
• Must be clean-shaven to ensure a proper seal for mandatory respirator use.
• Ability to stand for 6–8 hours and perform repetitive lifting of 25 kg.
• Must have a good attendance record and a willingness to work flexible hours or overtime if needed.
• Commitment to a 100% smoke-free workplace (including breaks).
• Knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures within an industrial setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent technical certification.
