The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the high-level maintenance of community parks, conservation areas, and recreational spaces. Your day-to-day will involve:
Delivering high-quality operational maintenance services efficiently and effectively.
Operating, applying, and maintaining a wide range of plant, tools, and equipment.
Applying technical expertise to ensure conservation areas are kept to a premium standard for the public.
Working safely and autonomously while adhering to strict safety and reporting standards.
Skills & Experience Required
We are looking for a "hands-on" professional who takes pride in maintaining community assets. To be successful, you must demonstrate:
Equipment Proficiency: A proven ability to use and maintain a broad range of plant and power tools relevant to grounds maintenance or conservation.
Technical Knowledge: Extensive skills and a genuine interest in maintenance services or a related environmental discipline.
Operational Excellence: A track record of delivering high-quality work within set timeframes and community expectations.
Reliability: The ability to work consistently in an island-based environment.
