The successful candidate will work on active construction and industrial job sites supporting crane lifts, equipment placement, hoisting operations, and complex rigging projects while maintaining strict safety standards.
Pay - $34-40/hr (depending on experience + skills)
Location - Shop located in Brampton - MUST be able to travel across GTA
Shift - Day Shift 7am-4pm (Flexibility needed for any weekend + overnight projects)

Responsibilities
Support crane lifting and rigging operations on active job sites
Safely secure, maneuver, and position heavy equipment and materials
Assist with machinery relocation, equipment setting, and installation work
Perform signaling and load guidance during crane operations
Work in tight-access areas, elevated environments, and high-rise construction sites
Inspect rigging hardware, lifting gear, and job site equipment prior to use
Maintain safe work practices and comply with all site safety requirements
Coordinate with crane operators, supervisors, and tradespeople during lifts and installations
Assist with site preparation, material handling, and project support activities
Adapt to changing project demands in fast-paced field environments
Qualifications
Previous experience in rigging, hoisting, construction, steel erection, machinery moving, or industrial installation
Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in physically demanding environments
Strong awareness of construction and industrial safety procedures
Ability to lift heavy materials and work extended hours when required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to GTA job sites
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Mechanically inclined with the ability to follow lift instructions and field direction
Working at Heights certification considered an asset
Experience supporting crane operations or heavy equipment placement is preferred
Forklift, telehandler, boom lift, or related certifications are considered assets
