Position Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Kelowna, BC (Servicing Kelowna, Vernon, Kamloops, Merritt, )
Permanent Position
Schedule: Monday to Friday + One weekend on-call rotation per month (additional compensation)
Shifts: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Wage: $38.86/H - $54.36/H (based on experience)
A class 5 drivers license and proof of clean dirvers abstract is mandatory for this role
Minimum 5 years of field service or industrial maintenance experience (senior-level requirement)
An asset for this role: Post-secondary education in electronics, electromechanics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia

Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with flexibility
One weekend on-call rotation per month (additional compensation)

Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated recovery and recycling equipment at customer sites
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults to restore equipment functionality quickly and safely
Respond effectively to high-pressure downtime situations, prioritizing service calls to minimize operational impact
Conduct equipment testing, inspections, and system performance checks
Complete service calls using a digital service management system
Maintain accurate service documentation and manage parts inventory in the service vehicle
Represent the company professionally while delivering a high level of customer service
Support continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to strict safety protocols
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of field service or industrial maintenance experience (senior-level requirement)
Post-secondary education in electronics, electromechanics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
A class 5 drivers license and proof of clean dirvers abstract is mandatory for this role
Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
Experience servicing automated or industrial equipment in customer-facing environments
Trades certification is not required, but considered an asset
Comfortable traveling regularly between Kelowna, Vernon, Kamloops and Merrit
Highly organized, self-directed, reliable, and accountable
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a mobile role
Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices
