For our client’s Accounting & Reporting department, we are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Corep Solvency to become the right hand of the Head of Solvency Reporting. key responsibilities
- Analysis & Traceability: You perform in-depth analyses on the most sensitive components of Corep Solvency reporting and ensure full traceability of all reported data.
- Technical Documentation: You document and analyze complex Corep topics, such as Foreign Exchange (FX) risk and Market Risk.
- Large Exposures: You take full responsibility for the "Large Exposure" reporting.
- Validation & Expertise: You analyze and validate quarterly Corep figures and serve as the subject matter expert for management, regulators, and auditors.
- Regulatory Reporting & Projects: You are responsible for the production and delivery of (semi-)annual Pillar 3 (P3) reports and actively participate in bank-wide projects regarding Solvency Reporting (e.g., CRR3 implementation).

qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Economics or an equivalent financial field.
Experience:
- At least 6 years of experience in accounting reporting, control, or consolidation within the banking sector.
- Specific expertise: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Corep Solvency reporting.
The essentials:
- In-depth knowledge of CRR3 and EBA ITS (Supervisory Reporting).
- Expert in MS Office (Excel & Access). Knowledge of relevant financial tools is a strong asset.
- Experience at an audit firm (focused on Corep Solvency reviews) is highly valued.
- Excellent knowledge of the banking or insurance sector, or of specific products (such as derivatives).
- Languages: Excellent command of English and French. A good working knowledge of Dutch is required.
