• Accounting & control: You perform in-depth audits on the use of internal accounts (suspense accounts, active accounts, etc.) and validate the consistency between individual entries and the general ledger.
• Monthly closing & reporting: You prepare monthly reports, monitor strict closing deadlines, and ensure reconciliation across various reporting systems.
• Data analysis & monitoring: You analyze trends and developments within the data, monitor accuracy and completeness, and proactively intervene in the event of discrepancies by contacting the relevant Back-Offices.
• Process optimization: You actively participate in projects to improve administrative procedures, internal control measures, and system changes (such as new legislation or IT implementations).
• Consolidation: You support the compilation of internal and external financial reports with a view to delivering the annual accounts.
• Advisory & compliance: You translate new laws and regulations into specific system requirements and contribute to the harmonization of information flows.

Education: You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience: You have at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a banking environment.

Technical Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of Bank Accounting is essential.
• You are an expert in MS Office, specifically in Excel and Access.
• Languages: You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English (professional-level proficiency in all three is a requirement).
