who are you
As a fine mechanical assembly technician, you work accurately and you have a feeling for technology. You enjoy assembling a product independently. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following points:
- You have a technical background or education
- You can read technical drawings and work instructions
- You speak and understand Dutch or English
- You live in the Eindhoven region
- You are physically able to do standing work
what will you do
In this role, you make important medical components for MRI scanners. You often build these products completely independently from start to finished product. You do your work at a neat workbench with technical drawings. You will spend a lot of time assembling at your own workbench as a fine mechanical assembly technician. Because of this, it is important that you are comfortable standing for most of the day. Your daily work consists of:
- Soldering wiring and circuit boards (fine soldering work)
- Accurately assembling and gluing components
- Collecting your own materials with a production order
- Working with a Cobot (a robot that helps you with the work) in a clean, ESD-safe space
- Thinking along with your team on how to make the work a bit smarter or faster every day
where will you work
You will work in the MR factory of Philips Healthcare in Best. You will become part of a diverse and collegial team of about 25 employees in the MRI Body Coils department. The atmosphere on the work floor is down-to-earth, involved, and quality-oriented. Team leader Yunus Talas ensures a warm welcome and the right guidance on the floor.
