We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forest & Environmental Professional to join our team in Bhubaneswar Pur, Odisha, on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in forest management and environmental practices, with a focus on sustainable development within the mining sector.
Responsibilities:- Conduct site assessments and environmental impact studies related to mining operations.
- Develop and implement forest conservation and reforestation plans.
- Monitor environmental compliance and ensure adherence to regulations.
- Manage and report on forest resources and biodiversity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote sustainable environmental practices.
- Prepare detailed reports on environmental and forest management activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of environmental management systems.
- Contribute to community engagement programs focused on environmental awareness and conservation.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in a relevant field such as Environmental Engineering, Forestry, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 9 years of experience in forest and environmental management.
- Proven skills in forest environment assessment and management.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and policies in India.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for environmental monitoring and data analysis.
