Responsibilities
Safely operate material handling equipment and utilize SAP systems to accurately track inventory and complete work orders in real-time.
Set up, operate, and perform regular wash-downs on modern automated palletizing equipment to maintain top operating efficiency.
Transport inventory to designated plant areas, directing specific dairy items to cold storage or processing areas as required.
Inspect incoming and outgoing skids to prevent product or equipment damage and enforce high quality-control standards.
Support overall operations by assisting at key production and assembly stations whenever extra coverage is needed.
Uphold strict workplace health and safety standards, following OHSA, WHMIS, GMP, and food safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
Ability to comfortably handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 20 kg across a 10-hour shift.
Valid Forklift Certification (or relevant hands-on warehouse equipment experience).
Solid communication skills and strong, practical problem-solving capabilities on the shop floor.
Good understanding of industrial safety regulations, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and WHMIS.
High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent educational background.
