Position: Forklift Operator
Location: Scarborough
Straight Days and Afternoon Shifts Available:
8:00am - 4:30pm, M-F
4:00pm - 12:30am, M-F
Pay: $20.15/hr
Advantages
• Straight shifts: Morning (8:00 am - 4:30 pm) and Afternoon (4pm - 12:30am) available.
• Work in a very nice, clean, and highly automated manufacturing & logistics facility.
• Opportunity to work with cutting-edge robotic technology and automated picking systems.
• Supportive management and a calm yet productive work environment.
Responsibilities
• Operate forklifts and other power industrial trucks to receive and stock products in the warehouse.
• Organize automotive products and parts in a timely and accurate manner to maintain inventory flow.
• Use the automated packing system and work alongside the new robotic order picker machine.
• Receive incoming orders and prepare shipments for distribution.
• Comply with all health and safety measures, including daily equipment inspections.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the manufacturing & logistics environment.
• Collaborate with assigned supervisors to meet daily production and shipping targets.
• Load and unload trailers with precision to prevent damage to specialized car parts.
Qualifications
• Proven experience within a warehouse environment or manufacturing & logistics setting.
• Valid external forklift license.
• Must have CSA-approved steel-toed shoes/boots (PPE).
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Availability to work the specified shift hours consistently.
