About the Role

We are seeking experienced, safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join a busy, high-volume logistics and distribution center based in Sunshine West. Operating in a modern, large-scale facility, you will play a key role in ensuring freight is moved, sorted, and dispatched accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Counterbalance forklifts in a busy warehouse environment.
• Perform loading and unloading of line haul trailers, trucks, and shipping containers.
• Move, stage, and stack palletized freight across staging lanes and high-bay racking.
• Perform manual handling, sorting, and pallet scanning where required.
• Conduct pre-operational safety checks on equipment prior to every shift.
• Adhere strictly to Chain of Responsibility (CoR), site traffic management rules, and WHS guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

• License: Valid Australian LF Forklift License.
• Experience: Minimum 12 months of solid experience operating High Reach or Counterbalance forklifts in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability: Flexibility to work across various shifts (10:30am and 1:00pm shifts) including peak period overtime.
• Safety First Mindset: Strong commitment to workplace health, safety procedures, and traffic management rules.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual handling duties alongside forklift operation.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and possess reliable personal transportation.
