freight & distribution coordinator.

The responsibilities include:

• Planning, assigning, and coordinating shipments to/from Greece and abroad via all transport modes (road, air, sea). 
• Communicating with transport/freight companies to ensure timely cargo transit and delivery.
• Coordinating with warehouse personnel to monitor shipment preparation according to customer instructions.
• Supervising and managing domestic & international shipments (issuing shipping documents based on Incoterms, issuing CMRs, handling carrier claims, etc.).
• Communicating with clients and suppliers regarding shipment status and resolving any transport-related issues.
• Maintaining full documentation for import and export shipments.
• Responding to inquiries and requests from clients and business partners.
• Collaborating with the IT/Technical department to resolve issues, develop automation, and continuously improve processes and operational conditions.
• Issuing transport and invoicing documents.
• Conducting continuous market research on international freight costs

• Proven work experience in a similar role (preferably in international freight forwarding and logistics).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational ability, and team spirit.
• High sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills.

• Degree from a Higher Education Institute / College (TEI / College diploma or equivalent).
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
