Responsibilities
Strategic Site Leadership: Act as a key business partner to Site General Managers, aligning HR strategies with high-volume operational goals and KPIs.
Labor & Employee Relations: Lead complex employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution; maintain productive relationships within unionized or fast-paced non-union environments.
Full-Cycle Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of both high-volume hourly workforces and specialized salaried leadership teams.
Performance & Coaching: Drive the annual performance management cycle, providing active coaching to supervisors to strengthen leadership capabilities on the floor.
Global HR Integration: Manage data accuracy within global HRIS systems (such as SuccessFactors or ADP) and ensure local site compliance with international corporate governance standards.
Compliance & Safety Culture: Ensure 100% adherence to provincial labor standards and workplace health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of injury prevention and employee engagement.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor and analyze HR metrics—such as turnover, absenteeism, and productivity trends—to implement continuous improvement plans.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HR experience within Logistics, 3PL, Manufacturing, or Distribution.
- A strong background in employee relations and/or experience within unionized environments.
- Experience working within global organizational structures, managing HRIS data (ADP, SuccessFactors), and corporate reporting.
- The ability to coach Site General Managers and lead performance management cycles.
- Deep knowledge of provincial labor laws, health and safety regulations, and workforce planning.
