1. Manufacturing, Engineering & Utilities
Production & Yield Optimization: Drive daily manufacturing targets for cocoa mass, butter, and powder. Maximize grinding throughput, manage recipe execution, and relentlessly minimize mass loss.
Engineering & Asset Integrity: Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance for heavy industrial machinery (roasters, crackers, presses, and pulverizers). Manage the plant's utility infrastructure (boilers, water treatment, and power generation) to guarantee zero downtime.
Capital Projects: Lead post-commissioning technical upgrades and future debottlenecking or capacity expansion projects.
2. Supply Chain, Warehouse & Inbound/Outbound Logistics
Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain: Oversee the intake pipeline of raw cocoa beans, ensuring strict alignment with cost, volume, and quality targets.
Warehouse Management: Optimize massive inventory operations spanning raw bean storage, chemicals, spare parts, and temperature-controlled finished goods. Ensure strict FIFO (First In, First Out) protocols and inventory accuracy.
Logistics & Port Operations: Streamline domestic bean hauling into the plant and coordinate seamless outbound container logistics to the Port of Abidjan for global export.
3. Quality Assurance & Product R&D
Strict Quality Compliance: Ensure the facility meets stringent international food safety standards (FSSC 22000, ISO, Halal, Kosher) to satisfy global confectionery clients.
Process R&D Collaboration: Partner with corporate technical teams to adapt local processing parameters (roasting profiles, alkalization, fineness) to meet bespoke client specifications and develop premium product lines.
4. Financial Command (Plant P&L)
P&L Responsibility: Complete ownership of the factory cost-sheet. Monitor and control Fixed Costs, Variable Costs (energy, labor, water), and yield variances to maximize EBITDA.
