Regional Financial Management: Direct the day-to-day accounting functions for our Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Taiwan entities, ensuring management and statutory reports are delivered punctually.
Strategic Planning: Lead the development of annual operating expenditure (Opex) budgets and manage the quarterly forecasting cycles.
Compliance & Governance: Oversee all tax and accounting regulatory requirements across regional jurisdictions, managing year-end audits and transfer pricing files.
External Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for tax consultants, external auditors, and corporate secretarial partners to maintain seamless compliance.
Operational Excellence: Evaluate and refine financial workflows and system integrations to boost accuracy, scalability, and overall team productivity.
Internal Controls: Champion corporate governance by developing and enforcing internal control protocols and company policies.
Leadership: Mentor and guide a focused accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture to meet departmental milestones.
Special Projects: Execute high-impact ad-hoc assignments and strategic initiatives as required by the business.

skills & experiences required.

Educational Background: University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional Certification: Mandatory qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional body).
Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of post-qualification experience within a multinational corporation (MNC); Big 4 training is highly regarded.
Regional Expertise: Deep familiarity with statutory regulations in Mainland China and Taiwan is a significant benefit.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
Communication: Fluent in English and Chinese (both written and spoken).
Execution: Highly organized professional capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Availability: Candidates who are immediately available will be prioritized.
