This isn't just a "sit-and-steer" job—you'll be navigating, lifting, chaining down heavy gear, and getting hands-on on the ground. If you take pride in a job well done and love racking up the hours, step right up!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating HC Synchromesh trucks (bonus points if you can tame a Roadranger!).
- Running Vehicle Loading Cranes (CV) safely to load, transport, and unload heavy freight.
- Securing diverse loads using chains, dogs, and straps like an absolute pro.
- Rolling up your sleeves—getting involved in manual labouring and site setup when required.
- Clocking up to 12-hour days with weekly pays to reward your hard work.
What You Need in Your Toolbox
- Licences & Tickets:
- HC Driver’s Licence (Synchromesh restriction minimum; Roadranger experience highly regarded!).
- CV Ticket (Vehicle Loading Crane).
- Dogging Ticket (DG).
- White Card (General Construction Induction).
- Massive Bonus: High-risk Forklift Licence (LF) with experience up to 16 Tonne! 🚜⚡
- Skills & Experience:
- Proven, hands-on experience operating crane trucks.
- Rock-solid load restraint knowledge (chains, tensioners, dogs).
- Fitness and willingness for physical, manual labouring work.
- Compliance:
- Driver History Report (issued within the last 3 months).
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical + Drug & Alcohol screen.
- The Vibe: Punctual, reliable for 7:00 AM starts, safety-focused, and a true team player.
